and i have the sudden impulse to revive my blog again..

chinese new year doesnt feel like chinese new year to me. this is my first year spending chinese new year in singapore i think, and i do miss the mad rush to get to the airport on time on chinese new year eve just to fly over to penang for new year; where loads of people throng over to granddad’s house to bai nian and visit my great grandma. all’s over when great grandma passed away 2 years ago after a long long battle with cancer. now hardly anybody goes up to penang, much less granddad’s house, including us sigh.

cny celebrations in school were pretty much the same. lion dance, co performance, wushu and what not. and i was waiting for progs gathering alright! and sadly, its like ohmygosh 4 people turned up wow. and shanna ahem ahem asked everybody to turned up and ahem ahem didnt turned up herself tsk. was pretty much lazy to go back to nanhua, afterall i dont really recognise all the teachers there anymore. nobody went back too i think.

spent my new year’s day in jb wearing the council shirt (okay so i dont have red shirts but who cares). went to my uncle’s house and met my eldest cousin for the first time in my entire 16 year life. guess our age difference. 25 years wow xD. hahahah he’s actually like 5 years younger than my dad. although it was pretty much slacking in the house and playing nfs, it was great catching up with cousins and family even though our age difference is like woah.
